Turningpoints Program Introduction Turningpoints Program

Promoting healthy living choices for young women

This site is dedicated promoting healthy living choices for young women.

An original DVD program called Turning Points or TP1 was developed to help those women that face challenges around disordered eating attitudes and behaviours.

A new DVD program also called Turning Points, or imaginatively known of as TP2, was designed for any young woman who places value on healthy living and is willing to look at what is working well or not-so-well in their lives.

Each program consists of video and written material.  The video material is contained on DVDs that we are distributing to agencies in the Province of Ontario where young women are likely be; high schools, colleges, universities, and health care facilities.  Existing and new agencies joining us as partners are posted on this website.

Partners are offering a series of group discussion sessions where women can exchange opinion and dialogue about the healthy living issues that are raised in the series.  Women who participate in those groups can join this website as members and, over time, gain access to new related materials.

For now, please bear with us as we ramp up this website and bring it fully online over the next couple of months.  Stay tuned and, in the meantime, thanks for dropping by.
